Hangry Ohana was started by two entrepreneurs who met in Hawaii - Reid Shintaku and Grant Conrad. They met in college at the University of Hawai'i and found they shared a love and passion for food. After moving to the mainland, they realized the flavors of the islands were hard to come by, which forced them to cook their own onolicious Hawaiian food.
Grant and Reid decided they couldn't keep their awesome food to themselves and wanted to share it with others, thus Hangry Ohana was born! Grant, a ColoraTexan-Hawaiian hybrid, couldn't resist his love of Texas BBQ that he grew up with, and wanted to share that love with everyone, adding his Texas twist to the menu.
